Great buzz about this comp which I think will be a great event, really good idea. The texts are flying about tactics etc.. :D

All the money is on the home raiders team anyway, according to the bookies!

The 3 Man Team Open is on this Saturday.

We still have 2 more Team Slots available, there are a few individuals also looking to fish so we can put you on a team if you wish!

The Fishing has been good down that way this weekend with plenty of Smoothies, Bass & Ray caught.

Ok Folks,

One more spot left – any takers?? Call myself or Conor ASAP and we’ll close this off!

Many Thanks for all the support so far (Particularly the anglers travelling from Kerry, Cork & Mayo), I’ve even been roped into fishing myself, so I can’t wait now.

Just wanted to say again big thanks to all who supported the competition, was a great success and we've already applied for a similar date in 2013!

Place Angler 1 Score Angler 2 Score Angler 3 Score Total
1st Stephen Glynn 20 Paul Tyndell 19 Joe Canning 19 58
2nd Martin Howlin 18 Joe Byrne 18 Mike Curtin 18 54
3rd James Ryan 15 Joe Duggan 15 Paddy Barnwell 13 43

Biggest smoothound prize (Sponsored by Shankill Angling Centre) was won by myself - 94cm!

all the usual guff, photos, aswell as the full results can be found on http://www.ecrsac.com/news.html
