we might hook up around the muglins phil give me a bell when your thinking about it I might try a bit of powder at some stage, the thing is the heads cool down very quickly,so i imagine they would have to be heated up again to coat them. Im going to cork in a couple of weeks, you can pm me the lures your were catching on if you like
Here is a couple more leadhead shapes i made last night
not sure of the weights i guess about 25g for the larger one and the smaller one probably about 15ish, i need to get a mini scales

alright man have you rough measurements of the them just to get an idea of the weight?? want to try make myself a mould for my own lead heads, sick off loosing them. At times i might aswel just throw the money straight into the water lol
2011 species: pollock, mackeral, coalfish, whiting, codling, conger, flounder, dogfish, pouting. Not bad for my first few months fishing
John they look great. Its a handy tread been trying to find where to find the stuff to make some lead head. Some nice sites on here. Handy hobby for when i can get out fishing
nice wan john, pretty sweet led heads man, have been making pirks and grippers and deadweights for years, but have never seen such a smooth homemade mould.
its always so much better when you land a nice fish on something you made yourself from the leader knot right down to the weight.
excellent.
planning a `lock in` in my shed now too...
Now u do have me thinking, lets see what is in the garage.
I must admit well worth the effort, regarding the painting I reckon if fishing at depth a luminous head might just make a difference
