Re: Tuna mayhem
Ah, gotcha now. Dunno, apart from the Bluefin tuna fishery up here off Donegal, but those are a lot larger fish than these ones, plus I don't think there's been any caught for the last couple of years. Still, the new season should be kicking off any day now, so who knows?CIANDOWNEY wrote:I know exactly where it is , i said ireland so people wouldnt start stating all other different countries!!!Tanglerat wrote:Since they went out of Portmagee, I'd call those Irish tuna!CIANDOWNEY wrote:Well done lads bloody brilliant, just as a matter of interested has anyone on this site caught tuna like those or any of a similiar size in ireland, please specify private boat or charter.

Re: Tuna mayhem
lovely !!! Any "how to" available ?
id like to catch one of these.
--------------------------------
Any advise would be appreciated:
1. How far from shore ?
2. Rigs? (any weights required ?)
3. Lures ?
--------------------------------
There are tons of videos but none explain the basic set-up.
Thanks

Do I not recall some Tuna report from last year? Pictures of a boat dripping in blood spring to mind.
