Might try the low water mark when we are down there in Sept/Oct, esp if we get a run of surf.

We are planning to ditch the bait fishing and use plastics and lures all weekend but I might just pick one session and head over.

Let us know if you are about ..!
We're down there last weekend in Sept and first few days of Oct.
Thanks Eoghan, i will be down around that time. We will overlap for the weekend probably. I am deliberately avoiding most of the big tides. I know you are only after the bass but some of the ray marks i like are unfishable on the big tides.

Thanks again for the comments guys.

Niall on the snoods i think these guys get through some pretty strong line. I was using 40lb amnesia.

hi francis. we were trying for them again over the last few weeks and they seem to have moved on. i sort of expected it to happen as they came in early this year, but just remember to drop me a line next year when you see our reports of them go up and we'll arrange a run out with you for a go at them man :P

Thanks Danny. I see from your report you were also down that direction. You got a couple of really good fish, especially the pollock, but it looks like it was hard going. Well done.

PS whats the hardest to land a 9lb pollock or a 9lb bass :).
