Just so everyone is clear on the matter, the guy choose to not name the mark, his decision and his right to not do so. Case closed, why the playground antics from adults who end up spoiling a decent report?

Go start another thread about Smoothie protection groups if the concern is so great or stop fishing for them! I didn't see the outrage at the pic of the one with a scales hanging from it's mouth.

Nice fishing mate. was planning on hitting that beach tomorrow so most definitely will now. might bring some steal wire traces with me also.

went down last night with one of my mates four rods out between us. two out far for smoothies one in close scratching and one out with a tope trace and fresh mackeral.

result NOTHING only the smallest smoothie i have ever seen. fished from 8 to roughly half eleven/ twelve on a nice flooding tide.

fished with crab, sandeel, mackeral and razor

have to be honest this is the worst years fishing i have witness on the east coast in years. there hasn't been a good run on any of the normal beaches for some reason and i doubt if there will be.
