Re: irish team for world championships 2011
Thank you for all the support lads, as mentioned there has been alot of work put in to get us this far and to get an Irish team to the World's is the final push to make history and put Irish casting firmly on the global stage.
Some info from Dennis:
"Hi Paddy, would be great to see you guys at the worlds, the cost per caster is 450 euros to enter, this is for entry to the worlds, accommodation and food, any extra days to the schedule which is not out yet will be about 60 euros per day, then you have flights, car hire, extra euros for a few beers, it will cost each caster in excess of 1000 euros, we have been raising funds ourselves as we also get no help whatsoever from anybody and we are the world team champions."
As you can see from this we are not the only ones in this position, so we will just like our English friends have to do some fund raising to help with the finances.
It is a huge honour for anyone who qualifies to represent our country at the very higest level and with the interest already shown we could have two very good teams in with a shot....

Re: irish team for world championships 2011
it has to be the 15th men , all who wish to attend to qualify MUST ring paddy and prebook 0879427645. you must have the €450 to be paid when qualified , €20 enrty fee for venue and leads etc ,
we are on our way to raising money true raffles etc and hope to run a big fishing comp during the summer to raise enough money to help us on our way
the more ground work we do now the better it will be in the future , time is tight but we can do this
the response i am getting back from all around the world is amazing , when people found out we are going to be there , history is being made

A huge thank you to Tony and to the gent's at Marketing-Impression's ( http://www.marketingimpressions.ie/ ) who have very kindly offered to sponser the qualifing Irish team with their quality Tshirts, jackets and caps etc.. It is greatly appriciated.
And also id like to thank Tom @ http://efishsell.com/ for the fantastic prize he has very generously offered up to help with the fund raising for the traveling Irish team, his continued generosity and support to Sportscast-Ireland and Irish casting has been truly outstanding and again very much appriciated by everyone.
