Hard earned fish there boys, I've all but given up fishing in January due to some poor sessions early on  , from spots that are known to produce in the harshest conditions. Well done lads, some nice fish there!

Well done guys, more great results and another great report Al 8) The Antrim coast is producing the goods for you's, when everywhere else is quite slow it never seems to let you's down. Well done Dan, you saved the best to last by getting a nice flounder at the end of the session.

saving private brian wrote:great report al and pics.love the 1 with the fire.u need it lately.if u get a steel shoppin basket its a handy thing for fires.so were ye using turf, brickies or coal  .
cracking idea with the basket brian :!: :!: . i was gonna keep an old 10L paint tin and knock holes into it, but the basket would be a hell of a lot lighter. i still have a half dozen black bags out the back garden with loads of off cuts from joinery jobs to keep us warm for the coming weeks
Dawsey wrote:another good session lads, nice mix of fish there, dan and jordan def have the right idea keepin things warm. hopefully see you guys soon, hope to be getting this thing off next weekend

seanie35 wrote:fine mix of fish like the fire set up need em these days 8)

Nite Owl wrote:Great fishing as always lads. Going to show my ignorance here but what the hell are 'pissers'.
   they are the big common clams you come across every now and again in the mud when digging lug. they get the very appropiate name because when you pull them out and give them a squeeze a jet of water squirts outta them. jordan likes to be a comedian by aiming them at my head when he finds them    . pretty good bait thow as we've had coalies, cod, flounder, dab, plaice and whiting on them in the past. i've also been told they are deadly cocktailed with razor for bass in the right areas too
