cheers man. we always try different methods of fishing when we're out. float, conger gear, feathers and ledgering. seems to be doing us well enoughyngkmd wrote:great stuff
your reports and pictures are always great.
you've been having some good luck yourself over the last month or maybe longer
good variety of species as well
cheers brian. i'm trying to get a clear few days when i can get a trip out your way. i have'nt been over to see noel in ages either. but there are good low spring tides in belfast at the weekend so i'll stock up on king rag and that should give me the prompting to get out your wayFisherKing wrote:Nice variety of fish& great report & pics Al we must be due a session soon
Thats a good haul of Doggies Jordan has
I haven't caught one all year!!!!
thanks frank. i love the wrasse fishing. simple spinning rod and they fight like stink. just gonna make the most of them while they're still aboutRockHunter wrote:Well done - some good sessions there. Thats a good size pouting!!
You got some nice size wrasse too - I didn't get to any of my wrasse marks over the summer due to my sore foot - I missed fishing for them, the bigger ones can put up a great fight.
thanks man. i always have a wee chuckle to myself when we're out and see a bunch of lads trying to unhook them. they treat them as if they are venomus or somethingTrojan wrote:Great fishing again lads and a lovely selection of fish. Those wrasse are great quality not to mention a fine selection of dogs i hate holding one let alone fourGreat to see. .

super one lads well done
thanks paul. i'm guessing it's one of the 7 other marks we fish between the old layd church and waterfoot peirDer Baron wrote:Cracking 3 days there Al, some nice photos, and those wrasse are cracking. The old Eel still eludes me this year, but I'll keep trying. Those Hardcore rods are fantastic value for money,I use one on the boat, and it's a very capable rod. I have a default location for Waterfoot pier by the way, to save Jordan getting annoyed, if you want to pm me. Although you probably know it already!!!!

Nice few wrasse there. I'd love to try for the conger on really light gear but i'd be afraid it'd be the one time i'd hook a real monster. Good laugh i'd say though. Fair play for gettin out to feed the doggies too.
