Id say 60 to 80 yards is the max for this little gem.

I think you'll be pleasantly suprised

I'd say 120 yards is approximately 9.728 meters longer than the 100 metre track we used to race on at school :P

GAME ON 8) I hope she does it, im making a hook less 2 hook clip down, with jelly worms to replicate bait, 75 grammes of lead and using low diameter line should give the rod every chance.

Ive decided the fairest thing is 5 lads to have a cast and take an average. Dennis has asked for a go so Staffo and me are in to any other volunteers. If your name is Andrew, Cracko or Marty you need not apply i like my rod as a two pice and dont fancy a 3 piece.

The little rod is amazing, some hairy moments at first but that was into a strong wind but after we changed the court around she came alive and some decent distances were done, AG with no effort did 116 yards I did about 115, and Lee (scannerman) did 125 odd yards. All this was done on a two hook clipped with a 75 gram lead. So I admit I got it wrong  Anyone looking for a good alround rod for bass, eastury work, spinning, float fishing, piking or even carp fishing this rod must be the best on the market and is very well priced.

Bragging rights aside, it really is some piece of kit for such a light weight looking rod, and the whole exercise was well worthwhile, you's would have had a bit of fun this afternoon no doubt 8)

Are you walking like John Wayne now after the wedgie

I'd say the rod is grand for spinning for macks, or even using feathers from a beach with a 2 or 3 oz lead (you'd certainly have fun with 4 or 5 macks on  ), but I dont think it would be suitable for hauling a full house up the rocks unless your using a drop net.
