hello fishquinn , i know that i got proven wrong on plaice/flounder , but i`ve being fishing for trout since i was a nipper , i know the difference on this particular subject . thanks for asking though cause it could be easy to mix them up .
Ive heard of salmon getting caught rod and line in the swilly aswell but they've always turned out to be those farmed vermin thats destroying our seatrout with strains of new sealice,i'm fishing in some shape or for now for 25years sea and freshwater and never heard of any wild salmon caught in the sea,but thats just me until it happens to myself or i see it happen i'll always have my doubts to wether its a wild fish or the other vermin,

congrads on the salmon one of the reasons i love sea angling, you just never know whats out there until you get it on the end of your hook discount nothig, as you just never know. well done again man
