No bother JD!! It just took me a while to get him back down to earth to get the photo from him :roll: :lol: :lol:

Yup Tony used to fish with Bishopstown I'm not sure if he still does, he is well known in shore angling circles
but is relatively new to the boat angling scene and fishes most of his boat comps with Anglesea SAC

First pic Ive seen of him, what a fish! My friend was on the boat when Tony caught him and he says the picture doesnt do the fish justice! According to Colin there have been haddock up to nearly 17lbs taken in nets recently so I woulnt think Tony is safe with his new record 8) A massive congrats to him though, just beaking an Irish record is a massive achievement.
Ah yes, 1974, The Cod Wars. I hated Cod so of course I signed up straight away.

Well done Tony that is some fish mate, my favourite fish to eat, he would keep me going a week or two. I would love to catch one half that size, but there are not many of that size about let alone your great catch.
