Re: Winter Lure Fishing
I was trying for bass this morning. No bass appears but I managed a sea trout. Nice sunny cold morning. Are you guys catching anything on lures at the moment?

Not even trying. Impossible to get to favourite spots due to conditions of road. Nice sea trout by the way. What did you pick it up on?

Re: Winter Lure Fishing
Hi Pat,
some roads are tricky - all right.
It took 9cm slipper lure - that I'm using for bass. They working fine for sea trout too. These lures are handmade so they are not widely available. PM me if you want more info.

Re: Winter Lure Fishing
That slipper lure is interesting. There seems to be plenty of seatrout around my neck of the woods but nobody is really successful in there efforts to catch them. Most catches seem to be accidental rather than design.
By the way they were very thought provoking posts you put up regarding irishbass.org. Dead right too as I'm not too sure is it moving in any direction at all.
