If anyone would like right to reply you are free to get in touch with the paper - b.whelan@dublinpeople.com

The article wasn't editorialising, it was based on documents supplied by a local Councillor and Dublin City Council.

Well I have to say that Naoise Ó Muirí is very approachable and has his contact details on his website here http://www.naoise.ie/contact.htm

Seeing as he is
campaigning for laws to regulate the number of ragworms that fishermen can capture.
why not drop him a letter?

You know we are so lucky living in a free and open democracy that we can contact our local councillors so easily.

Dublin Bay - The Future

Lads I have dug in dublin Bay my father before me his father before him and any bait left over is returned too sea where we are fishing or if we have too pass dublin bay on the way back home its returned too where it came from.
Unless this is a law or even if it is a law I will not stop collecting my bait it is as much a part of fishing too me as the fishing.
I need a fork too dig not a machine these people need to get real someone looking for browney points. I know from the lads that replyied too this fourm who I don't know personaly but read their regular reports collect bait like myself for years so if a machine was in use anywhere I am sure it would have been noted on this site by now.
Disgrace abousloute disgrace I am trying too write this reply with my fingers but keep switching too my knuckles.
I will chain my self too the wooden bridge if they try bring this in.
