Head Light

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

just a quick tip for the lenser H7R. my one is plugged in via a usb that inserts into a plug but theres a pic of a different set up on the lenser site.
i have a car charger for my ipod which goes into the ciggarette lighter and connects thru the ipods usb. i emailed them asking if it would work for the light or would i be in danger of messing up the batteries and they said it would be fine. handy to know if you forget to recharge it. the charger cost me €5 last year.

i got it from ebay, cant remember the sellers name. the battery pack with it is only ok. on full itll last about 4 hours before it dims. i usually have it on full for baiting and low when watching for bites and theres about 7/8 hours in it before itll fade. it'll take 3aaa's so i always have spares in case i forget to charge it and they work fine. the light out of it is pretty awsome tho so i can see why they dont last forever. id reccommend it but bring spare batteries if your out all night.

My only problem with this is that i am not getting out enough to use it  , was out recently and the light was great, but as above, always carry a couple of spare batteries with me, just incase !!!! Well worth the bobs :D :D
