Right lads, just a quick update.

As far as the dates are concerned, its Friday 21st August to Monday 24th August inclusive.

For any Dublin based lads, we plan to leave mid-morning friday, to get an evening session in once we arrive, so accomodation will be sorted for frid/sat/sun nights.

Any lads travelling from other parts of the country can arrive/leave when suits.

As for numbers, I have it as the following so far.

Myself
Corbyeire
Peter97
doggie3131
John
Jason

Possibly satlydog (well you know you'll be coming really Conor  )

So 7 in total.

So lads if you can just reply with final comfirmation that you'll all be coming please, thanks.

I'll check some accomodation this week, and post a few options for consideration.

As for the boat idea, it would be great if there is a site member who could give us a trip out on his own boat (we can cover any expenses regarding fuel etc), so I'll post a topic in the boating Q & A section.

Personally I'd not be too fussed about booking a charter, bearing in mind the shortness of our stay, potential for adverse weather, and the fact that there will be more than enough decent marks for shore fishing.....also wanna get a few pints in down there :D

Feel free to work away amongst yourselves though if you want to book something solid.

Hi lads,
I have a family holiday booked in Castlegregory around that time, heading home on the 22nd but I might be able to make a session on the Friday. Any ideas where you will be staying/fishing because I will be without internet access from the 10th on.

No probs conger, be nice to meet a few other lads of the site.

To the rest of ye, I didnt realise that its that daft rose thingy of tralee the same weekend, so accomodatiom in the town is a no-no, checking a few options out on the dingle and I'll update with possible locations/costs over the next day or so.

Hey Shamboo,

Try Castlegregory, there is a decent amount of accommodation in that area. Lots of holiday homes and such.

Right lads, I know this is gonna be a right royal pain in the backside especially coming so late, but I've got to withdraw from this weekend due to work commitments.

I should be able to make it next weekend if thats any good ?

If you lads still want to head down this way and want some info for the accomodation side of things let me know.

Sorry again boys :(
