Thats a pretty cheap shot. I mean, if your going to blame someone else for your inability to catch you might as well do it properly.

On a side note, well done davy, seems you got your mullet mojo back   8)

Hopefully Fentster you'll get one soon too.
If you want to maximise your chance of catching one just speak to Colin C, he knows what he is talking about when it comes to mullet fishing, he taught Davy all he has to know! :) :)

O NO.
I can just imagine Davys response to this

Well Davy (mate), what do you have to say about this, it's not like you to say nothing

Fair enough, theres no need to swear. Just a little tip, if you don't want anyone to comment on what you have written, its probably best to not post it on a public forum in the first place.......

If you knew Colin you would know he doesn't mean any harm (well I think so anyway).
We all appreciate comments being made about things we have wrote but only if they are sensible and don't offend anyone.
It didn't help you saying about Colin making a cheap shot about Davy's casting due to his own inability to fish. He knows exactly how to fish and catches plenty too.
They are mates for goodness sake and anything said between them is only fun!

O dear

And how do you know its a swear word behind the stars :?:

I think you should also heed your own advice above

Plus me and Davy go fishing together most days so we can banter each other  instead of people who have no idea whats going on having a wee slag and a whinge like some aul women in a knitting circle.

Rant over

i said inability to catch, not inability to fish. anyone who has read reports recently knows that colin is a good fisherman.

colin c wrote:And how do you know its a swear word behind the stars :?:

the short answer is i don't and i would be glad to be proven wrong on that. what is said word then and if its not rude, why didn't you post it in the first place instead of ****?

i understand that you are just having a bit of craic, i reacted to that comment because to be honest, it made you look like a spoilt little brat who didn't get what he wanted and blamed someone else when actually its no ones fault. im assuming that your not a spoilt brat, its just that comment did make you seem like one.

so as KERRY1 put it, i'll stop "doing your head in" and leave it at that.

I can assure you little boy that i am far from a spoilt brat.
The comments i made about Davy were for Davy,Kerry1 and my benefit as a bit of a laugh between friends, not for someone who lurks round forums looking for an opportunity to have a dig at people.
Which i must say makes you look like a complete ****** :D Work out what that says

Looks like a small misunderstanding thats getting a bit out of hand, thats if i'm allowed to comment  . I've enjoyed the posts regarding the rivalry between Colin and Davy, though i dont know either, but i could clearly see its just a bit of craic between the two boys. I have the same craic with Fishface, never really thought of how it might look to others. One word is borrowing another here i think, or should i just mind me own business   .. Whats the equivalent of biting ones lip on these forums :?

You are allowed to comment this once.
I have never really thought of how our banter looks to other people either. But thats it,its banter between mates.
To then have a guy come on who doesnt know me saying i should blame my own inability to catch and that i sound like a spoilt brat is a bit out of hand.

The word behind the stars is mullet by the way if you didnt guess it.

The only thing that will get thrown out of its pram is you wee lad.
Dont forget you have to be nice to me cause it will only take one phone call to get you thrown off that river for poaching.
Which leads me to another point.I take it 4 of those mullet dont count seeing as they were taken from my club waters which you refused to buy a ticket for?????
I used to have some respect for you, well maybe not but after seeing you in your true light as nothing more than a poacher i must say i am dissapointed.
