That 5 beard is a good size and quite dark looking the two I caught last year were much lighter in colour.

thanks jonny, our bait freezer is better stocked than most tackle shops

the doggie took the top hook on a 3 hook flapper on a little sliver of squid

and i almost missed the id on the 5 beardy

thought he was just another shorey at first and only spotted the extra barbles on second glance

but like you say, he was a lot darker than the one i got here last year. i'll add the pic. we're only in the door from a 4hr run at bangor, jordan was feeling a bit annoyed at all my late mid week sessions he could'nt make because of school

it was whiting city, jordan got 26 in the end, so thats him sorted with his fishing fix for another couple of days

. dawsey arrived after us and got a dose of em too before we all headed for home and HEAT

it was freezing
