luckily we had 2 wee telescopic spinning rods in the boot of the car which are only 15 - 30g casting weight. the wee coalies and whiting gave us super fights on them loaded with 6lb line

thankfully the wind was blowing us into the pier. if it was blowing the other way out to sea it would have been very hairy indeed
