I went fishing early one sunday morning got down to the beach set up my beach buddies two rods and got the traces out when to get the bait. opened the bait bag and there was half a pound of sausages, rashers and some pudding looking back at me. i grab the sunday morning fry up out of the fridge instead of my bait. lucky enough me da didnt mistake the lug for sausages

Fishing from the bottom of a cliff at night alone  (bad enough, not reccommended) when I decided to adjust the focus on my headlight unscrewed it too far and the glass and bulb fell off into the sea. Had to climb the cliff in pitch darkness but for the light of a lighthouse every few seconds.
I require a tremendous amount of calcium

I always keep a loo roll in the tackle box for such an occasion

Wrapped up tightly in a waterproof bag, for obvious reasons

going out on a boat with a dodgy tummy

organized a couple of charters last summer got awful fed up with numb nuts backing out due to hangovers or wet weather . wasn't feeling the best one morning (had a bad pint the night before i think it was the 12th or 13th)
going out and wouldn't pull out out of stubborness got on the boat and started changing all the colors of the rainbow even the skipper said he would bring me back to land couldn't lift my head up just kept getting sick  but kept fishing couldn't give in .

Power casting the top half of your rod into a very lumpy sea and managing to snap your line in the process so the top half of the rod flies well beyond recoverability.
