Was just reading this now and I'm sorry for being bit late posting in it four months after last reply.

Anyway, not sticking up for anyone or having a dig. but, rag does work for stingers, I've had whoppers on King rag. also I know for a 99.9% fact that in the Bay that I have caught stingers in the hoors have a source of King rag somewhere in the bay that they arn't telling us anglers.

But, if I havn't been on home ground and don't have kings (like I'm not pushed about king rag but if I have some and I'm looking for stingers I will use it as a bait of equel choice with the Mack like) I've had plenty pups on bunches of maddies.

However for the stingers, fresh mack works as well as any other bait, I've heard of em taking crab as well, I can't say this for sure but I don't doubt it.

PS: Just reading the replies again and there was some fella on bout blueys, I've picked up at 3 species of ray on bluey over past twelve months-including a pair yesterday morning below in Fenit'ish!
