Well done there pal, great to see some decent sized fish, keep up the good work.

Might have to try that mark myself when I venture further afield.

What was the ground like, looks like it could be rought alright!?

Would I need plenty of rigs/weights?

The area down there is very tackle hungry.

Although if ya do a bit of scouting around you will find some sand patches between the rough stuff.

took just over 2 hours wayne...its handy to get to, cheers for all the comments lads, and the info about safety down ther, i got lucky with the conditions but the area i was fishin ended up about 5 feet under water so i called it a day, will defo be checkin theres no strong southerlys blowing, and i wouldint want to seem like a know it all but id say to anyone going to that area for the first time to check winds and tides to be safe. if all goes well ill be back there this weekend :twisted: , saw lots of numbers painted on the rocks there, is it a competition venue?

a lot of comps held there every year ,
would not be a big fan but good crack with the 5 man team comps
send a pm to brian cantwel or fishfinder there the men for the hook
ask brian about safety :lol: :lol: :lol:
2009 species= whiting,flounder,dab,codling,bass,dogs,rockling,smooth hound,
