Global warming due to man is a fact, and its been proven.

Thankfully, we in Ireland had the foresight to elect the Greens into government, and 2 months later they've already stopped climate change!

Cool and rainy, just like the summers of our childhood. Normal service has been resumed!
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!

its more a case that there will be a counterargument to any argument on the subject of global warming.. and each argument will be as valid as the last..

the thing is everything is based on statistics, and no two computers will come up with the same statistics to base the research upon which makes the case for research into the statistics themselves... and there is no such thing as computer error only human error... so when building data into statistics to be used for future information, its best to throw it all out the window and go fishing... honestly

thats just sticking your head in the sand - its decision time - there either is global warming or there isint

if the consensus is that there is - we need to get moving yesterday - otherwise the whole "debate" thing plays into the hands of the naysayers - time is lost - profits rise - and for how long...???

i know these things seem complex and have nothing to do with me, the individual per se - but action is required

of course id rather go off fishing :D

just too much time and energy and resources are wasted correcting for an "argument" - with no scientific backing, no peer reviewed data - from an unnrecognised institution

if these 3 particulars are sound - i will listen whole heartedly to the points being made

i totally agree with orlowski that there needs to be - more science less hysteria

and teacher knock yourself out

They discovered it did they not...God created it.....good job the other side didn't get it first.....then you would know what global warming was all about.

Seriously...my point was there was a school of science at the time that said it would set the atmosphere alight and end the world..... they were wrong!! my point made....every time man tries to play God we mortals tend to suffer along with our planet.

exactly - we are playing god releasing all that CO2 and other greenhouse gases anyway - so we should be ameliorating it also - for ourselves and the planet also

we caused the problem - we should fix it

Lads,

Take a look at http://www.predictweather.com. This guy makes arguments against global warming. Also. I don't believe a damn thing I read about global warming anymore, arguments for and against it. If it comes from any majoir media source, there's always an agenda behind it.
