Report/Comment

Venue: Rosscarbery area, Co. Cork
Date: 15th May
Time: 20.00, for less than an hour
Tide: ebbing tide, about half
Weather: fine, little stir in sea
Rig: hokkai
Results: no macks
Comments:
Was spinnin with a jelly worm for pollack when I noticed half a dozen gannets continuing to dive bomb a couple of hundred yards from where I was, thinking it night be a shoal of macks I put on the hokkais, didn't get a thing, later someone told me the gannets were probably targeting sandeels, could be right.

Hello,
This thread started about 5 weeks ago, and it's had average over 100 views per day since. Out of 3,500 views 10 people have posted reports, SO PLEASE if you have a report (even one like mine below :( , please include it to build up this useful info).
Also, if you catch from a boat please state that, as we should assume they are shore caught unless stated different.

Time: 19.00 to 21.00 different marks

Were you drift fishing on the pier or were you drifting in a boat off the pier?
