I know this is a how long is a piece of string question but I'm sure there is enough experience on this forum to come up with some basic guidelines .
I don't think we need be concerned about the maximum temp at which fish will feed
How about the minimum temp at which there is a realistic chance of catching without specialist gear or skills ?
And the best temp , all else being equal ?
Personally I am most interested in mackerel , pollack , cod and the other reasonably common edible species . ( I have to put something on the table to contribute towards the cost of fuel these days
)
