Wexford Bass on Alaskan Flies

I've posted in the "pike" fishing section of the forum but it seems to be a very dusty cobweb ridden corner of the forum without much activity.

It's just new. Spread the word about it ... ;)

I apologize, I have never looked at the dates on the topics and I see now that its only been active since November of there abouts. I just assumed that it had been running for the same time period as the SEA section. I take back my comments regarding the cobwebs.

maybe the admins might like to move this post to the Pike site

i do a bit of pike flyfishing on the river. I tend to transfer over the bass gear (big deceivers) and am no way as experienced at this fishing as i would be in the sea.

I would say MAC is the man for you D - take a look here for some patterns and examples - im sure there are probably better examples

Thanks for the link Jim. There are a couple of nice looking flies on there, "hopefully" I can imitate some of them.
