Just spent a week over in wexford the tides wasnt the best but it beats works
first day fished furlongs road flat calm only a bit of weed resulting in 3 bass all about 1lb..
second day cullenstown blowing a gail and a nice surf bass from the off finished this session with 12 bass with the best at 3lb...
3rd day had a good look about for some new marks for next time i am over found a few nice spots for next time and decided to go back on furlongs and fish the night tide good decision as
i had well over 20 bass with a best of about 4lb....
4th day again flat calm so decided on cullinstown as i had heared that there might be a chance of a bream in the main channel 2 flounder and 1 small bass really struggled..
5th day decided to try lacken for the flounder see if the big boys were about pumped some fresh blow lugg and started fishing first part off the flood when you normally get them was rubbish not a bite but as soon as the tide turned i managed 3 fat flounder the best touching 2lb result...night tide i fished rosslare as there was rumours of some big bass about perfect conditions top not bait first cast a nice 3lb bass followed by a nice whiting then another bass about the same as the first and thought i was on for a cracking session but that was the last of them untill the last cast i managed a small hound .
lat day decided on furlongs again as 3 months ago i had a very good session on there with some massive bass up to doubles...but it wasnt to be i managed 2 small bass in flat calm conditions and bright sun however there was a match on the stretch and as far as i could see there was only two tiny turbot and a small maccy cought so not to bad..
cant wait till next time
