Just a quick report. Fancied heading out to make use of the fine inland weather but didn't want to venture too far. As always, upon getting to the mark, there was a surprising chop and swell given the last few days' light winds. It was also a fair bit cooler. First hour was very slow with just one ballan. Things took off at 8:30pm for a brief period of about 1 hr, during which I had 5 ballan, 4 corkwing and a rockling (a shore I think but having verified). Nothing big yet, early days for HRF wrassing gear on this mark, biggest ballan was 3/4 lb but great fun on my light gear with the drag set nonetheless. All fish close in, many on the drop.
