Any tips for loch ryan scotland

:P does anyone know what sort of bait and rigs you would use in loch ryan and what types of fish are caught theyre :lol:

gareth its all doggies mainly so its gonna be fish baits mainly and clipped rigs depending where u go now that the peir is outta bounds...when me and stuarty fished it we had big bags of wrasse, doggies, rays and conger but that was before people in the club desided it was an unfair advantage cause we always went to that spot... :evil: :twisted:

If you are there when its just coming on to a spring tide its well worth doing some spinning at the end of the spit past wig bay caravan park, right at the end where the small island is, ideal time 1.5hrs after high water, 20g toby, ideally wade out a little, be carefull of the wash from the hss though, great place for some Bass, we started off fishing from there and progressed a bit further out in the boat. Still have not found a place like that down here yet!
