i just fine that the 10 foot just does'nt do quiet feel right with most of the spots i fish & the extra foot does make a big difference.
just had a look a the 1010 pro now, does look like a nice rod, have'nt used that version before, does'nt seem to be that many 11foot spinning rods on the market to be honest.

Century are bringing one out soon called the Vectura. Probably expensive tho. Should be details on their website.

I second this,Iv been using the 7-28g 1002m of this for over a year now and I love it.Its light enough for your soft plastics and plenty of length to launch plugs and lures with plenty of back bone for holding fish. You cant go wrong and it wont break the bank.Bit long if your moving about a bit but perfect for the long flat beaches.

I have the greys sea spin 11ft 28-90g, 3 piece for about 3 years now. Ive used it on the boat for pollock, spinning & plugging from the shore, float fishing for wrasse and also scratching for flounder at close range. A great rod and very versatile.

cheers for the replys, the teckon does look a nice rod & good review also, the 1010 pro looks the buiness too, there looking for 370 sterling for the century,a crazy price for a spinning rod, dont even think a die-hard bass lure angler would even justify paying that for a spinning rod.that greays rod that you mention looks to be a nice rod also..not sure about the enticer do,looks abit to heavy for what i want.

What are you looking for in your new 11ft rod that the Mike ladle rods don't have?

I just want to see what else is out there & what other bass anglers are using, did find that my last mike ladle rod fine, although i did replace the top
Eye a few times & my reel came lose at times.might want something slightly stiffer.
